Shamrock 5K

Today was the Shamrock 5k and Little Leprechaun race at John Prince Park in Lake Worth. Lily and her friends Coral, Jennifer and Kelly ran the 5k race and everyone placed in their categories and took home a plaque! Way to go girls! Marshall and his friend Colton ran in the Little Leprechaun race and got medals for finishing! Yay boys!!

Thrill On Shark Hill 2010

On Sunday March 7th Lily and Marshall completed the Thrill on Shark Hill Duathlon in Lake Worth. It was originally going to be a triathlon, but there was a problem with the pool so it was changed to a duathlon (run, bike, run). Lily got to use her new road bike and she handled it really well! This event was not timed, but both kids did a really great job! It was a nice first race of the season for all of the kids in the Jaguar Tri Club!

Lily got a race bike!

Lily got a new bike!! Tomorrow is Lily's 10th birthday and we surprised her one day early with a brand new Fugi road bike! She was so excited...(we were too!) We bought it from Rudy at Real Deal Bicycles in Jupiter. She was able to ride it around the parking lot behind the shop and she will get a chance to really break it in on Thursday afternoon at Jaguar bike practice. The kids are doing a duathlon this weekend so she will get to race with it right away! Yay for Lily!
